OKEX is a cryptocurrency exchange originally founded in Hong Kong. The exchange recently relocated operations to Malta. The company was founded in 2014. It has support for a wide variety of cryptocurrencies with over 150 coins able to be traded against Bitcoin. The cryptocurrencies can also be traded against USDT, Ethereum, and Bitcoin Cash. The exchange also has futures where traders can apply high amounts of leverage. Futures products include Bitcoin, EOS, Ethereum, and others. The fee structure for the spot market varies based on volumes traded. Market taker fees ranging from 0.15% to 0.05% and market maker fees ranging from 0.1% to 0.02%. Futures fee structure also varies based on volume with market taker fees ranging from 0.01% to a 0.01% rebate and market maker fees ranging from 0.03% to 0.02%. Withdrawal limits also apply on the different volume tiers and a 0.1% fee is charged on withdrawals. The exchange also has an index which tracks the number of cryptocurrencies and charges low fees at 1%. OKEX is currently restricted from a number of countries including the United States and Hong Kong.
