Spectrocoin offers a number of solutions in cryptocurrency including an exchange, a wallet, a card, and payment processing. The card will function the same as a normal debit or credit card. Spectrocoin cards are denominated in either Euro or USD and are funded from any of the supported cryptocurrencies. The supported cryptocurrency list includes over 30 coins. The card is also supported worldwide which is another strong point to Spectrocoin as many card issuers in the crypto space do not support US citizens. There is a service charge of $1 dollar for the card which is a disadvantage when compared to other cards with no service fees. However, it is a small amount and is not charged if there is no money on the card. In terms of fees, they are mixed but some can be high such as being charged 5% for funding with a credit card. A virtual card also costs €9 with most competitors having no charge for getting a virtual card. Spectrocoin also provides exchange and wallet services. Spectrocoin notes that they put around 99% of the cryptocurrency coins into cold storage which is a strong level of security. This has not been verified or audited. There have been mixed reviews from the online cryptocurrency community with some having a seamless and others having serious trouble with their accounts and labelling Spectrocoin a scam. There has been no public announcement by the company addressing users calling it a scam.
