Awesome Bitcoin

Awesome Bitcoin is an open-source project which is a curated list of Bitcoin services and tools applicable to software developers. The list includes a wide variety of different tools including Wallet API's, different programming language libraries, and Blockchain API and web services. The list has been in existence for approximately three years and was initially created by Igor Barinov. Barinov is considered a blockchain expert and is an active developer in the area. Barinov is the technology lead of an Ethereum sidechain which uses PoA consensus. The code currently has 18 contributors and over 80 forks. The links and documentation are all available on the GitHub page. Each of the links contains a brief description of what it is and all are organised under headings. The list also includes online books. The links are mostly focused on Bitcoin with only a small amount being applicable to altcoins. Some of the content is very technical and is not suitable for the inexperienced cryptocurrency user.
